Watched two films recently; Fury and Gone Girls. Fury was pretty good but as a "tank" movie, I don't think it's as good as The Beast. Gone Girls was pretty entertaining, a good thriller. Gone Girl was creepy. According to my wife, the novel was even creepier. It was creepy indeed and I could envision a sequel.....Gone Girl Gone Bad....

Aloha Sir , Russ I found this Ebay Seller: wemovies (21710 ) seller selling movies of Drag Racing so I ordered one.
Funny Car Summer is what I got and at a decent price too. Paid around ......$ 12.00-15.00 for it shipping included. He has a lot more and also for Fuel Altered's and much more. Many featured Drag Racing that are originals and he put them onto DVD's and for sale. Great to watch and brings memories back of the good old Days. I am ordering a few more and keeping a small collection on hand for my watching. Aloha Louis
Oh yeah baby, that's whatt I'm talkin' about!

Amongst Friends
The good old days of the 3 J's.
I wish I was back in high school as bad as it seemed at the time.

Well, I finally watched The Beast last night, definitely not on my list of favorites. The acting was not very good, and I had a problem with all the "Russians" speaking perfect English.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it Tim. Insofar as the Russians speaking English, well I understand but it would have been much worse had they spoken English with a Russian accent. In so doing, you got a better perspective of the Russians' mind-set , accurate or not. Figure it plays into the notion that Afghanistan was their Vietnam. The film was shot in Israel and I thought the cinematography was excellent. I thought the acting was good but to each his own I guess.

I would have preferred Russian's speaking Russian, and just have the whole move subtitled. I agree with the cinematography, it was nice and raw...
