Welcome! Question - we're having an informal competition based on how new members are brought in. How did you find us? Who won the informal competition? I'd be interested to know who brought the most new members in....

We've had too much unlogged data to really go ahead and get a competition going. Also, since JakeB put up a Facebook / Dagaz post about us, we've been swamped with new members.

Every time I converse with you, I have to look at that picture of a pork pie in your avatar. My wife used to make them for us (and do a damned fine job at it), and then she decided she loved piggies too much to eat them. I'm sad.

When I joined, I couldn't seem to find any suitable or interesting picture to use and just went for that for a bit of fun. Much as I love them, In don't think I ever had a home made one. I respect the veggies though. Are they a particularly British foodstuff or are they world wide? (are you in the uk?)

I spent a lot of my childhood / youth in the UK (though born American and living here since I was a tweener) so I'm familiar with them. My wife tried her hand at them years ago and she's a great cook.

Are you a blackpudding man too? (I doubt you can get that over there or your wife make it?)

Are you a blackpudding man too? (I doubt you can get that over there or your wife make it?) Not so much a fan of those, though living as we did deep in the countryside I sure saw my fair share of them. English breakfast, that's what I miss. Country places that did high tea. Little village shops. I lived in a corner of unchanged England, with pork pies aplenty.
