Just say no. "If there's any drinking, I want you to say NO. It's not my thing. I promise you, your real friends won't care"
How 'bout Quaaludes? Do they still make "Quaaludes"?
What is the new handle?
The Gubment keeps changing shit so they can charge you.
First they invent it, then they sell it, and then they charge you with it.

Last evening I had a Shipyard American IPA 5%, brewed in the UK to USA spec, to accompany a light evening dinner.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thousands of barrels of beer in Wisconsin being dumped, reused
New Glarus to dump 5,000 to 10,000 half-empty kegs for farm fertilizer in coming weeks
MILWAUKEE — Thousands of barrels of beer are being dumped or reused across Wisconsin because of the state shutdown, and more beer dumping could be happening soon.
"We've heard of some distributors, some bars, larger breweries, with bigger distribution networks having to dump beer. And it's like dumping a little piece of your soul down the drain," said Tim Pauly, co-founder of Broken Bat Brewing Co. in Milwaukee.
Broken Bat Brewing just moved to a new location, so all its kegged beer is still fresh, but the clock is ticking.
If the stay at home order prevents them from opening their new tap room much longer, it will be dumping, too.
"There's a lot of blood, sweat and tears that goes into making beer, and it's part of you. It's what we create," Pauly said. "If we're really not allowed to have people through the next couple of months here, we're in trouble."
"We knew that if bars and restaurants shut down, we wouldn't have a market for keg beer," said Drew Cochrane of New Glarus Brewing.
New Glarus stopped putting beer in kegs early last month.
Its "Fresh is Best" program is bailing out bars and restaurants with beer that is aging out.
"We're going to go ahead and take back all those half-empty kegs, and we're going to replace them with a full fresh keg of our beer," Cochrane said.
But not without heartbreak for Wisconsin beer drinkers.
"The half-empty kegs are probably going to have to get dumped. We actually have a relationship with a farmer who will take it out and have it applied on a field, so it'll end up being fertilizer," Cochrane said.
New Glarus estimates it will be dumping 5,000 to 10,000 half-empty kegs for farm fertilizer in the coming weeks.
Beer Capitol Distributing in Sussex said it's already repurposing 54,000 gallons of past-date Miller beer and other brands for hand sanitizer.

Report: Pandemic increased alcohol sales to highest level in nearly 50 years
A new report suggests Wisconsinites are buying dramatically more alcohol during the COVID-19 pandemic
MILWAUKEE (AP) —
A new report suggests Wisconsinites are buying dramatically more alcohol as the COVID-19 pandemic drags on.
Revenue from state excise taxes on alcohol during the fiscal year that ended June 30 totaled $73.8 million.
"Yes, Wisconsinites, who are known for their drinking, have certainly been drinking more during the pandemic," Wisconsin Policy Forum President Rob Henken told WISN 12.
That was up almost 17% from $63.3 million the previous year, according to preliminary data from the state Department of Revenue.
"I think this is a very significant jump," Henken said.
At Discount Liquors, one of Milwaukee's oldest and largest liquor retailers, the spike in sales began almost as soon as the pandemic began.
"People were out buying alcohol in large volume," co-owner Tom Greguska said. "Pretty much no segment was left behind. It was hard liquor. It was beer, wine, everything. People were buying."
If the preliminary data holds, the increase would be the biggest percentage increase the state has seen since 1972, the report said.
The percentage increase in alcohol tax collection exceeded 2.4% in only one year between 2009 and 2020, the report said.
Alcohol excise taxes in Wisconsin are based on the volume sold, not price.
Beer is taxed at about 6.5 cents per gallon.
Wine is taxed at 25 cents per gallon if it has an alcohol content of 14% or less.
The report did not examine sales tax revenue on alcohol.
Most states have seen a bump in alcohol tax revenues during fiscal year 2021.
The report said increased alcohol consumption is "perhaps unsurprising" given rising stress about personal health, job losses, school challenges and a lack of leisure activities during the pandemic.
"If rising consumption levels continue and additional public health impacts materialize, then policymakers may need to consider further steps to discourage harmful levels of drinking or related behaviors such as intoxicated driving," the report said.
Wisconsin has long ranked among the bottom tier of states for the rates at which it taxes alcohol.
The beer tax ranks 48th while the wine tax is 43rd and the liquor tax is 41st.
Researchers said they didn't know whether the trend was an anomaly or if it would continue.
"I can't anticipate seeing that kind of increase again anytime in the near future," Greguska said.
The only two years on record with bigger increases in alcohol tax collections were 1964 and 1972 when the tax was increased or when the drinking age was lowered.

Everytime I have Fuller's ESB, I think to myself "why don't I always drink this".
Best beer out there.
