When things are slow around here we turn the warehouse into a shooting range.

I guess that would be the equivalent of an organized business' scooter track

I know I've got a pic somewhere in the 11 megs and across 3 Photobucket accounts.

Let's just say that in my experience the more acute things get the more acceptable it is to let of steam after all is said and done.

Going through some old pics and found this one.



And a little further down the road it's me almost sliding off the road and down a cliff on The Dragon in TN.  It was bad enough I already had an ankle splint on after breaking my ankle 3 months before

When you run out of lean angle all you have left is a bunch of metal grinding on asphalt.



Notice the "dirt now worn of and clean" rubber that was dragging the asphalt after the "Oh shit put your foot down" which is the worst thing you can do but is a reflex reaction when you ran out of give

In hindsight many years later I question every decisions I made when I was young and dumb but if I hadn't "Been there, done that" I wouldn't have all of the stories and experiences that I do.

Playing leap frog on a bike with a semi on the freeway in the rain TX at 80MPH because you are tired of getting splashed with trailer backwash every time he passes you and you pass him and he feels the need to pass you back is reckless.

And stay out of the Houston / Dallas / Denver /  Beaumont / Jackson / North Memphis / Indianapolis / Elizabethtown / and many many more more ghetto's I have ended up at after 10 hours of riding and had to stop at. 

If your ride went smoothly everytime you wouldn't have a story to tell and it wouldn't have been memorative (positive or negative)
