Hey people.... somehow I was using google-about some factoid about Seiko's and ended up here. I am an old Seiko Citizen network 54 refugee. Im early 40's live work and play in NYC. I am Seiko nerd- but really life and work has got in the way of collecting. I've probably bought restored destroyed more junk watches then is good for me. at some point I probably had over 35+ good 6309's its a sickness right now I have like 5 watches. kmc

Welcome . . . .
I think we may have connected briefly over at SCWF as I work in the city and live "upstate" . . . aka Rockland County.
Glad you found this board . . . it's a great community.

Welcome! I'm new here myself. Was a SCWFD only member until I found this forum and now they can't get rid of me! Leaving the SCWFD for others to impale their brains on instead. I hope you enjoy WRIST SUSHI as much as I do! Now show us the money!!!! What ya wearing? (and I don't mean your undergarments).... well..... maybe, maybe not!

Long time no "see"! I almost didn't recognize you without the toast avatar. Still using the watchmaker on the corner of Hester and Bowery? I left NYC for the Boston area three years ago for my wife's job. I miss it, but you get slightly more for your money here. Any get-togethers with the NYC crowd? Myles

welcome4aboard Kevin. It's great to see you here!
I have noticed you aren't around on the forums as much as you used to be. This place should get you right back in the swing of things.
Oh yeh, you've known my by at least a dozen different handles over the years

Thanks for the Big Welcome People... I see some familiar faces- its good to be seen.
Myles- I do still use that watch maker- when I need. But im not much on collecting these days
Peter- good to see you here too, I see some other 'old school' faces too.
We have a 4.5 year old son- my work in television is busier then ever, we moved to Weschester Just above the city. We opened a store - that my wife left her job to run so that leaves less and less time to be online and to collect. I sold the bulk if not all of my collections and parts off. I am down to a Yellow 6138 0011 and two 6306's that I built. I even sold My Marine Master 300m and bought a Sinn U1
what is the world coming too.
