Got my new bracelet today and I think its almost a perfect match! Of course it needs to be sized and it has those damned folded links! I am NOT going to phuk with trying to remove them or size it as I have just too many problems in doing so. I'm going to take it to my watch guy tomorrow and see if he can do it. Probably charge me $20.00 to do it but well worth the money to me!

I think so too! I'm just hoping he wont have any problems getting the links out and put back together! The thing I am most picky about is having the clasp as close to the underside center of my wrist but he may have to remove two from one side and the 3rd from the other side.

Total looker - perfect match !
I too obsess over the exact landing spot of the clasp on the underside of the wrist. If it's wrong by just 1 link I move them all around until it sits just right. Makes all the difference in the world, really.

That band looks way better than any strap you could possibly put on the watch. It's probably the best I've seen yet

Looking forward to seeing this one on your wrist, I like it. Rene, you really need to learn how to resize a bracelet...

Tim For the most part I can resize bracelets but the folded link type are a bitch! Getting those links out even if the band is brand new is a major major effort and then trying to get them back together is even a bigger challenge for me!

If you can't do it, bring the parts to your guy, and have him do it. No sense wasting money, if you don't have to.

Hidden lug watches are always hard to find a strap or bracelet for.
Looks like a good combo.

So, what the hell...is this thing wearable yet? Nooooooo not yet! I tried sizing it again my self to save money but just cant get those damn pins apart! My watch guy wasnt there today so I'll make another attempt at it tomorrow or I just may forget about it....... sell the bracelet here on the Forum and put a leather band on it! I am a man of VERY little patience!!

Really sizing the folded style bracelet is not that hard. What you need are the right tools and the right mindset, The locking pins on most Seiko foldeds are easily popped to the side with a poking tool (basic ebay watch tool) and then grab the part that sticks out with flat head pliers and pull. Reverse for install. If that last little bit of travel going in is hard, wrap it in a soft cloth and use channel locks to pop it is the last mm. Get an old beater folded bracelet and go to town. Practice makes perfect. Trust us, we're telling you to do it yourself. YOU CAN DO IT !

I have tried EVERY size poking tool that I have and every size jewelers screwdriver I have and even sharp pointed knife blades and those links will NOT come out! I have pushed, poked and struggled with all my might and they wont budge!
