Thanks Jason. I'm glad you like it! To be honest, I've been having thoughts of perhaps modifying it yet again using a black Seiko dial of some sort. Have to admit those thoughts just ebb and flow so I don't think I'll pursue any changes for a while...unless through some divine intervention I get inspired. I would be remiss not to state the obvious that your and others 6309 will always be tops in my book, especially on a flat vent strap. Mine is at Tom's for a case refinishing. Spencer has already done a bang up job on it, so I look forward to its return. In the meantime, me thinks I have other watches I can wear!

That, my friend, is a Z199. Somewhat of a jubilee, but all solid links (except for the endlinks).

Old pic but this one tonight. You should have said 'I really worked my nuts off to get this photo for you lot tonight! Put my life on the line'. As the watch doesn't have a date window and all... just saying we'd respect you and be non the wiser... we'd say things like 'wow what a guy that lorddanceswithfishpoles is! Top all round nice bloke!'. Instead we're thinking "thats nice, couldn't be bothered to take a fresh photo for me. What a utter utter !&^$()£"""S%^d". Nice watch btw

Nice watch btw GFY, oh, sorry, meant FYI I got home late and have a severely painful lower back. The mere thought of climbing in to the man cave to get a watch gave me a real dilemma. I struggled up and put it on at 8.30, which is unheard of, as I usually do it as soon as I get home at 5.30. All the light was gone by then so an old pic it has to be. Now the hot bath and pain killers have kicked in, I will probably climb up again and choose one for tomorrow. Anyway, honesty is the best politics www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI7eg-HIC-g Go to 1.02.26 if you don't fancy watching the whole thing. Mmmm, could only find this with Danish subtitles. Must arrange to remedy that ! Lord Fishpole Cranberry.
