Mordern(ish) for work. But definitely vintage tonight, though I'm not sure which one yet . Freshly fixed by the feline fettler. Thanks again Mike. 7dfe79adc2f0

This one has been sitting in the window now for a few weeks so I guess today is as good as any to strap it on!

Started out with the Old Man o' the Sea But then the mailman brought me this. Jonathan's 7548 mod on shark mesh. On it goes.

Citizen Windsurfer today: Damn I love that watch but they seem hard to find especially in that nice of condition! They're around but the problem is that people think they're worth an arm and a leg. I see them listed for $500.00 to $1000.00 and that's just nuts. Mine is no museum piece...but it works just fine and looks good enough for me....I'm happy with it. I got mine for a "fair" price considering it's condition.

Yeah.....I hear ya on that! I just did an E-bay check and the prices are crazy! If you're patient and vigilant you can find one for a decent price. I'm still kicking myself over not buying a gold one that a fellow in Spain had....and it was NOS...still had the box, papers, tag was still on the strap, etc. He wanted $450.00 but in reality it was worth it due to the fact it was, literally, still a new watch....but I balked for some reason....sometimes I can be too cautious and I've been kicking myself ever since.

Started out with the Old Man o' the Sea Love that Patina on the ......." Old Man of The Sea ". That one looks great, glad you have that one. thanks! It was a professionally-used dive watch in the Dominican Republic for a long hard working life. Suffered a seal failure, and the rust from the movement ring spring stained the dial and markers. I liked the way it all looked, so I rebuilt it and here we are. It's certainly unique.

That's a nice looking watch....evidently they aren't available in gold any more....there was also a blue dial and a white dial model that I like....nowhere to be found now. I'd probably buy one of each if I could find them....you can't beat the price.
