I was wearing this!... Ok yesterday this watch looked like this... Today it looked like this... And here is its having its health check This is my first restoration/service and it actually looks and works ok! I also relumed the dial and hands as the lume had gone black and funky. Only issue I am having is the second hand does not want to reset to the same position each time... I think the hand is loose and is jumping when the pusher is engaged. It's a nice early Resist dial watch on it's original bracelet and with the split seconds hand and the 6139A movement, domed crystal and notched case. June '70 6139-6009.

Hi Nice 6139, Those two piece seconds hands are made to be adjusted without removing them but sometimes the flyback is set too hard and the force moves the second hand slightly off true. I always soften the flyback on 6138/9 chrono's to reduce stress on the hands and movement. of course it could be just loose as you suggested and I hope it is as it's the easiest fix. best of luck with it seikola

Lucky it was just the hand was loose. I reset it today and it's 100% now And thanks it is a nice watch. Its hard to find ones that have not been got at. I'm now in two minds whether to sell it or keep it but I think having two identical watches is a tad extreme. T
