Last weekend, I made some Chinese Five Spice ribs, served with simple rice & baby bok choy. I really liked these ribs something different from the standard BBQ.

Ah, forgot this one...I did some pulled pork, and served it with some classic BBQ sides.

It all looks great Tim. The fresh pasta sounds good with the pancetta & peas. I saw Lydia do something similar a while ago and my mouth was watering then too. Your veggies look delicious. sprouts & bok choy roasted?

Christmas Dinner was awesome, cooked the Prime Rib on me XL BGE. Served with horseradish mashed potatoes, and green beans. Looks delicious Tim . . . . we cooked a full (7 ribs) 17.5 pound rib roast for our Christmas dinner. Ours turned out delicious . . . . hope yours did too . . . . it sure looks it!

Not dinner but lunch today. After a tough morning lounging, I mean grafting around the house, my bride whipped up a little something on the BBQ for me. Zucchini pan fried in a little evoo with garlic, steamed green beans, baked taters and we split a good sized rib eye. I chased mine with a glass of Wyndham's Shiraz. Coffee is ready so I think its back to, rather, I think I'll enjoy it in my recliner and take in some news. It's liable to cause indigestion watching it but I can always change the channel....or nod off.

There is a new place that opened up a few weeks back and it is only 10 minutes from where I live. It's called Mud Bugs and today I gave it a try. It's a small place that serves Louisiana style foods. Since they will also have a food truck serving this area they have a limited menu of Po' Boys, seafood jambalaya, red beans and rice and home made cookies for desert. Today I had The Kansas City Po' Boy and a side of red beans and rice. The food is awesome.
