Tonight, I did a quick chicken & Dumplings...It turned out pretty tasty. Carrots, potato, celery, bay leaf & seasoning. Add some flour, and stir. Chicken stock, bring to a boil. All the meat ,from 1 small rotisserie chicken. They didn't have the Jiffy biscuit mix I was looking for, so I just used some biscuits in a tube. I've read some reviews, and folks have had good luck using them. Cover for 12 minutes, then stir it up to thicken it a bit. There you have it, I have to say it was pretty satisfying.

On those tube biscuits... roll them out and cut them up. I dust them with flour but don't first thicken the sauce as the dusting does it for mine. I love those biscuit dumplings.

I made some homemade clam chowder for lunch today, quite tasty! Oh, and those are pancetta nuggets floating in there.

Rendered some homemade pancetta... Seasoned up some pork steaks... Fired up one of my Weber kettles... Green beans & mushrooms in with the pancetta... Hot sear on the pork steaks... Plated with some yukon gold potatoes, it was delicious!

Next time you decide to come back to the Midwest let me know so I don't have to ride so far for a free meal hookup If I show up on your door step sometime don't ask don't tell as I'm not there for the free meal and you don't want to be an accessory to / harboring a fugitive

Those look awesome. What is the benefit of cooking them on a grill vs oven?

Today, it was homemade pizzas on the BGE...SO damn tasty, impossible to go out and buy anything this good. Those look awesome. What is the benefit of cooking them on a grill vs oven? You can cook at a higher temp, I typically do pizzas around 600º.

I can run a grow house, I can manage your wash house for you, and I'll stop by for dinner every night :winner:
