I love older Seiko chronographs. I've only started getting into these recently and thought we could post pics of our Seiko chronographs, particularly the older, unusual ones! Here are the 2 that I have. One I picked up on the bay last night , a 7016-8001 with flyback column wheel and some kind of totalizer for the chronograph. The other pic is my 6139-6005 that is with Spencer currently for evaluation and service. Lets see some others! Attachments:

I have 2 x 7017's. They are both mid-refurb so ignore missing hands and stuff.

Not super rare, but don't see them often on the forums. 7A28-7079 bracelet (and therefore the watch) is super comfy. IMHO the most comfortable of any 7A28 that I've ever had the pleasure of having on my wrist. Rob

You want unusual?? OK - here goes!! From my collection of the Seiko Flybacks (701x movement family): 7017-6030 7016-5020, not that unusual but came with original strap, original(?) case-back sticker, and near Mint condition! 7017-6050 with slide-rule sellers scanner shot - the second hand is really straight correct original bracelet & buckle. 7018 Timesonar, one of the most elusive types! 7015-7020 seen before the correct crown was installed not one of the rarest ones here in the Philippines, but quite colorful and the only Japanese models of that era I've seen with crown guards!! A nicely restored 7017-6040, but likely with an improper outer dial chapter From my Citizen flyback collection: A 5700 Record Master Rally Custom These are hand-wind like the Seiko Crown Chronographs! An 8110 model that was dubbed "Spaceman" by one collector/seller in about 2000 An 8100 that came with original strap The 8110 "Baby Speedmaster", please excuse seller's lousy pic it was actually in quite nice shape! Another 8110 with an "Art Deco" bezel likely also a scanner shot. How's that for now?

Seiko Conventional Chronographs (613x family) from my collection: 6139s: A JDM version of one of our favorites, from the -001x model line The catalog for these 6139-8050 6139-7080 6139-7020 6139-7100 Not all that unusual, but in quite nice shape, with original braclet & box as far as I can tell.

And, finally - the unusual 6138 models I have: An "Old JDM" dial Big/Small Eye or UFO: Bracelet links are replacement, but buckle was original! Seen head-only. "New JDM" variants of the same model: and A pair of 6138-0020 "Tokei Zara" not on original bracelet. Old JDM Cha Uma [or Brown Bullhead, but "Brown Horse" from the Japanese name] And a nice Kuro Uma! and an even nicer one! It is now on an original fishbone bracelet. Sliderules! 6138-8030 And likely the most unusual, the 6138-8001, 23j variant, known as "Baby Panda" recently

I don't really know if this is unusual but I sure do like it! Very similar to 1 of mine, the case-code of mine is a 7017-6010: Bracelet on this example is likely a replacement. Also note that the apparent "texturing" on the dial is just an artifact of the photographic process, the dial is actually a plain black without any "ripples".

NOT from my collection, but quite unusual ones - most shots are from Japanese collection & reference sites: 7015-8000 A NOS example from Japan: A better example of 7015-7020: The 7015 counterpart to my slide: 7015-7010: 7015-7000: 7015-6000: 7015-6010 - Timesonar: My personal example, with likely a modified Date wheel, but I liked the color contrast in the translucent part of the dial: Finally, a NOS 7017-6040: Note the outer dial chapter is diffferent than the one I posted from my collection. That one rotates, mine doesn't. There are actually more that are quite unusual too, in the 7017 movement - including a 7017-6000 with Soccer & Basket Ball timer tracks. But I don't have the pics in a server at the moment.

Here is a weird one. It's a 7A38-6060 from 1986.

These are a great little watch. Wearing mine today as it goes. Not seen so often and clean ones are very far and few between. This is mine on a NOS bracelet from Stefan although the bracelet ends are near on impossible to find so these are a pair of Z027's modified to fit. In fact they fit better than the original ends but hey ho such is life
