No wabi on this one but I do see some of my own DNA on the bracelet.....time for a toothbrush, soap & water!

The least wabi'd of my 6309s, but give me time. I've only had it a couple of days. By the way, it seems to be stuck to my wrist.

OK, I don't have much - but these are the "prominent" examples in my collection: 1. ca. 1949 thru mid '50s Citizen ladder-dial F-Type (but a later generation, not the 1st type introduced in 1931 & revised in 1948): And, here is the "2nd revision" movement variation (starting 1949 according to my sources) of the F-type, seen thru the factory expo-back: 2. Citizen cal. 5700 in the Rally Custom style case. Note the bezel wear (outer edge): 3. Seiko 2nd Generation hand-wind Grand Seiko with cal. 430 movement in a 5722 numbering-style case (the 430 was re-titled as a 5722A in mid '60s, but the 2 calibres are identical in design/architecture): and the movement inside: 4. Seiko 6218-8950. The close-up dial shot makes it look MUCH worse than it really is in person at life-size: This is one model of the 6218 with the conventional Day+Date display @ 3 o'clock rather than the typical (for 6218's) split window display. This picture of it shows it off in a little more flattering way:

Myles Thanks Myles but I can`t take credit for this mod. I bought it many years ago from JP on the old SCWF. It was his vision to incorporate the MkII hands & dial. All I did was send it to Duarte at NeWW for a light beadblasting to match the watchadoo bracelet.

Changed to a watch with zero wabi. Thanks to Seikola's generosity, the Slava lives.

Wait, what? What is that? What? Where'd you get that? It's an SKX173 that I picked up on Amazon. I held off for years, thinking it was silly to buy one as I already own an SKX007.

How in the world have I never looked closely at one of these? They've got a 6309 sweep hand? What's wrong with me? Was there a glitch in the Matrix? I swear I've never seen that they're made in this configuration before.
