Awesome Post !
Sometimes I too think that the thrill of the initial clean-up and the post-Ultrasonic reveal is what makes me love this hobby the most ! 90% of the improvement in the first 20 minutes and no money spent on parts yet !

Yes it´s great fun laugh1.gif A nice amount of dirt at the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaner, so they were nice untouched, packed in dna, parts smiley-cool11 And I sure have a 6309 fetish, to me the coolest toolwatch ever made! Compare how most, all original 6309´s survived, compared to watches the same age.. Ron Uploaded with ImageShack.com

I want to put together a really nice example for modding, just need to start looking for all the components.

I wish I had the time and patience right now and I would follow the 6309 project as well. Besides that, summer is starting over here, so... maybe later.

Ron, what kind of solution do you use in your ultrasonic?
I've only used mine for cleaning my eye glasses.... so far.
