I've had mine from new too, about 1983 at a guess, I still use it everyday, I dread the coming of the day it dies.... I just sold that calculator (which I bought new) for $35.00 on eBay I bought mine around the same time for college, it worked well up-to the point I sold it, just went through batteries especially if the contrast was turned up

I just sold that calculator (which I bought new) for $35.00 on eBay I remember having the exact same model when I was at school - brings back memories of confusing Maths lessons- what was Cosine again?

My one was a present from my mother for my first day at Senior School in 1979 when I was 11 years old. Still using the original 1970s batteries. For years I presumed it was solar powered but nope it's battery only...
