Its this 6138-0011 for me today that is undergoing restoration, the dial has since been relumed this morning but I still need a gear train and barrel bridge to finish it off and enable the automatic winding gubbins to be fitted. The transmission wheel jewel is missing;-( So if you have a spare you would not mind selling please PM me.

In memory of my good friend Jay. This was his Blancpain from '54 which I am wearing today as it's 5 years since my good friend lost his battle against cancer. Jay was a retired professional diver and my dive buddy for many years.

I took off the 6349-7040 and put this one on... I did manage to get it running again. Just took a little ingenuity and some conductive electrical paste Thanks Thian; this is a great watch in fantastic condition!
