Ha The holiday commemorates a harvest festival celebrated by the Pilgrim Fathers in 1621, and is held in the US on the fourth Thursday in November.
Here is Aussie we call it Australia Day. have a great time good people.
All the Best Mark

I am still on my "honeymoon" with my 1969 Seiko GS Hi-Beat 6146-8000. Hanging out at my parent's house, waiting for my brother's and their families to show up. One has to drive down from Maine, and the other one is always late, so I have plenty of time to kill. I already helped my Mom prepare the meal, I have wicked knife skills so I cut up all the vegetables and made the dressing. Later I'll do the "cold plates" of pickles and stuff, and get all the salad ingredients ready. I'm a "good boy", so for now I get to sit upstairs in my old room and play World of Warcraft!! Enjoy the day everyone! Drive safely! - Thomas

Maybe drink a little too much wine, and fall asleep watching football? Oh wait, that sounds like a pretty normal day... :imok: - Thomas

Day off today. Wore this one this morning for breakfast out, a walk back home in the rain, clearing the side of the house where a tree fell down a few weeks ago, re-felting the shed, and taking the cat to the vet. And then I sat down for 5 whole minutes ! This one for the evening

Happy Thanksgiving folks. I'm a unusual brit (yeah yeah strange, weird, unusual, total wan&£*R) but being half American I've always celebrated Thanksgiving which I'll be doing tonight down the local carvery with a big plate of turkey. Enjoy!
