Besides the fact it has a very faint scratch (?) on the dial and it doesnt have the beveled day/date box it looks pretty damn good I think and will tide me over till I can find an OEM one!

That will do nicely until the real McCoy shows up There are a few really good repros out here that would suffice in the place of the real thing.
This one will be fine until you get a good OEM one.
Personally, I don't mind the AM ones that look almost exactly like the originals...except the lack of day/date window bevel/.

Rene~, Hen's teeth are not rare; every chick that has to break it's way out of the shell is equipped with with an egg breaking tooth that rapidly dissolves or disappears once the chick is free of the egg. You would be better off looking for a virgin nun or a truly celibate priest

Well is wasn't cheap. I was in a bid war on the EPRAY, and lost with less than 3 seconds. I sent the seller an email letting him know, if the buyer didn't pay I would gladly buy it. A few days later I got a message from him asking if I still wanted to buy the watch..... YA Ended up paying 1150, which I KNOW I KNOW, most will say is too much, but Im the kind of collector who is willing to pay a bit more for NOS. Came with all the original boxes/papers ect. In addition to the sale, the seller turned out to be a really nice guy and will potentially have some more NOS seikos which I will be first in line for and for a reduced price this time <style id="pageBrightnessCustomCSS">body{zoom:140%!important;}</style>

And after seeing what crazy numbers people were bidding on this NOS bezels from tiger on the 6105 and 6309, I could sell the bezel and pay for half the watch <style id="pageBrightnessCustomCSS">body{zoom:140%!important;}</style>

That's a nice one :winner: Now put it back in the box before you scratch it However if you decide to beat the shit out of it at least you can claim street cred for every mark on it like an MS65 pocket piece. That is why I don't own nice stuff
