I went down to the beach this morning, to keep my father in law company while fishing.

Please forgive me Forgiveness not required. That is a very nice looking watch and it has a good solid movement based on the tooling for the old Venus 75 calibre. Sea-Gull has refined it for small improvements to time keeping and more improvements for manufacturing. This is the Sea-Gull ST19xx calibre movement. These watches are are to find as Alpha hasn't had any for some time now.

Yesterday's pic but same again today. I love the power reserve indicator. 2 mins = 40 + Hrs (tested when it first arrived).

Hi Louis. Yepp this is a keeper and I should never have sold my other one but as Peter once told me.....NEVER say NEVER. My sincere apologies go out to ALL that helped me get the parts and that I forgot to thank!I often times forget my manners and forget to do so. Thanks to you Louis, Peter, Tim, SeikoPsycho, and to Larry from the SCWF who sold me the dial, hands and movement. I had a movement already so it will be added to my spares should I ever decide to build another one! If I forgot anyone please accept my apologies! This Forum isnt just about buying or selling but its also a lot about the love for our watches and how we are willing to help one another.

Keep him company? Does that mean that you weren't fishing? No fishing for me, I didn't get a license. You have to have a license to salt water fish now? Wow...that's news to me. I grew up in Va. Beach, Va.....never needed one there....for either the Atlantic Ocean or the Chesapeake Bay.
