I have been a fan of GMT watches. Which do you prefer divers, navigator timer, world timer etc?

I prefer the simplicity of a standard GMT watch to a world timer, but there are a few exceptions: Would love to see a GS world timer, but the GS credo of legibility might prevent that from being realized.

I think I like simple GMT as well. I just found a 1976 Bellmatic and got it back in good shape after over thirty years in a drawer. But in reading about alarm watches I got familiar with Vulcain Cricket and the Vulcain brand.... Very stunning dials IMO

i have two navigator timer, one with blue// yellow color scheme on rotating bezel and one with the more common blue/ red. I am not sure I know why they are different other than they were headed for different markets originally. I think the navigator timer is very functional design. I would like to add a diver GMTor two and those alpinists seem to be very legible. The grand seiko GMT is nice thanks for sharing!

I'm not a fan of GMT watches. I don't travel and don't have friends or family in England. Maybe I just don't get the GMT concept but I was brought up on divers and chronos.

The rotating inner bezel of nav timer also allow elapsed time measurent. GMT or Zulu time handy for pilots (at least used to be nice to have quick reference to universal time on the watch)

THIS was my very favorite but in a moment of weakness I sold it! It was a bit too small for me at 36mm so I let it go hoping someday to find the full sized version (40mm) There is however one member who has the FULL size version but he refuses to sell it which I can understand but in order to get it I would almost be willing to trade a couple of my Vintage ones for it which would exceed the value of his!
So far....no luck!

6117-8000 makes me happy. Bold but understated.

For some reason most watches I have are dark dials. Just gravitate to them. But the light dial of the Alpinist is accented very nicely. Thanks for the information on that model!
