My OM straps arrived today. Thanks, Matt! As promised, here;s a comparo with the Borealis straps I already had. I'm mainly going to post pix of the orange ones, because I have the orange Borealis on a 6309-7290. I put the orange OM on a 6309-7040. The OM straps are considerably softer and more pliant than the Borealis straps. In this pic, you can see that the Borealis strap is beginning to take a set from the curve of my wrist. You can also see the difference in the size of the vent holes, those in the OM being considerably bigger. On my 7 1/2" wrist, there is only one adjustment hole left on the OM, so about a 7 1/4" wrist is as small as this would work with. The Borealis leaves four holes of adjustment, or about 7/8". One final note. The Borealis straps have a catch to hold a keeper near the buckle. Is it really functional? <shrug> It seems that you pays your money and you takes your choice. If you have a small wrist, the Borealis may be a better choice. Borealis are $15.00 each, OM are $18.90 each.

Anyone in the US, that ordered in this thread, get theirs yet? I received my shipping notification on Feb 17th, still waiting for it to arrive. I guess there really is a slow boat from China... Ordered mine about the same time. Still no band. Contacted them via a email, quick response and they have kept in touch with me. Received email yesterday that the shipping another one and apologized for the apparent issues with shipping. So we know they have a responsive customer service and they do there best to handle problems. I can deal with problems like this as long as I feel the companys are doing there best to resolve the problem. Thumbs up to Orbis Morgan

I think I'm just about done with these babies. None have found a permanent or semi-permanent home, yet. At this price point, they do remain a fun option though!

I sold my in a flash, the strap was just too long for my skinny wrists.
In a brief email with Nelson of Obris it sounds like they will be making another style strap and offering it in a shorter version...

Well, mine finally arrived today. I can't say I'm impressed, it's just too thick and bulky for my taste. Good quality strap, just don't love the fit. Just out of curiosity Tim, what size is your wrist? Depending on the size of your wrist, it may be that they designed the strap for use over a wet suit.

You're probably correct, my wrist is approx 7.25" I believe. As previously mentioned, this is not a strap for pencil wrists..that's for sure.

Being thick as they are, it and the other similar iterations can easily dominate not only the wrist but the watch itself. My wrist is approx 7.5" and I can get away with them, just barely. I too find them a bit tricky to find the right comfort zone with them. Still a cheap option nonetheless.

I believe I have only 1 adjustment slot left.

These are great for my dive watches. Hard to find real dive watch straps. Heavy duty and long for my 7.5" wrist. This strap will fit over my dry suit when I'm dredging in the bearing sea.

I got mine today, it appears that there was a problem with orders sent to the North East and the weather, I contacted Nelson and he sent me another 5 days ago. The strap is really nice, I'm happy with the finish just wish it came in a shorter length, with my 6.25" wrists I need to use the first vent hole. Dan, have you checked out the Borealis straps? They are roughly the same price but not as long and have more adjustment slots. The quality is a bit better as well imho.
