Just been pointed in this direction from another forum, so thought I'd pop in and say hi. Won't be very active online for the next few weeks because of family matters, but looking forward to getting stuck in to some new discussions when I get back eta: Damn, that's quite some smiley! surprised-scream-smiley-emoticon

Oh, just seen the admin message asking us to "tell soomething about ourselves" in the intros, so.... I run a clock and watch repair business on Anglesey in North Wales (although I'm from Plymouth originally). I've been repairing them professionally for the past 18+ years, since I left the Army as an arcraft technician and discovered that there's not much call for helicopter menders in civvy street! I'm not particularly an expert on Japanese stuff because economics demands that I work on anything that lands on my bench. But I do have a soft spot for Seiko and (especially) Citizen, as well as ruskie stuff and American clocks - in both cases for their absurd durability rather than their technical excellence! I also play with cars, computers or anything else that can be mended - which basically means anything if you try hard enough

Thanks for the welcomes Now back at the grindstone but been playing catch-up on work that built up while we were away so only had time for quick forum visits (and starting a certain thread that seems to be growing rapidly ) Hopefully should be calming down a little over the next week or so and can get stuck in to the forum for real then!

B-| I'm planning to dive up that was in September (Menai Straits) so good to have you in the funny farm. Ex Army Helicopter Tech eh? Well, never met a R.E.M.E bod who could resist taking stuff apart. Putting it back together mind you, different matter I think you're a good fit round here mate thunbsup.gif
