Many months ago I was pissed off at my 8F56's as they changed over at 12:01. I figured the perpetual reset synched up the gear's and a qualified watchmaker or line assembly line person would set the hands right. Wel after braving a sober til midnight quest to see a 2 date shift I was pissed off that I missed it happen on both watches at 12:01 and some change.
So here I am pacing myself waiting for the now I know 12:01 changeover and the black has already changed before 12:00 and the SSASS is late
Happy welfare check day everyone
As if I didn't have enough problems in my life at 12 AM stupid free video edit software doesn't work and video won't upload.
I guess that is enough problems in my life and go into hiding again
There are not enough emoticons to express my level of pissed off.

Hello folks, I have been remiss again in participating during the week. I have been wearing watches (duh!) and even taking pictures, but I just didn't have time to process and post them each day.
Since I recent;y received a "threefer" of early '70 Seikos, I wore the first of them on Tuesday. It is a "flamboyant" 1973 Seiko ADVAN 7019-7230, with a bizarre hexagonal "dazzle" dial, faceted crystal, and "plate" style bracelet. Groovy!!
I can't remember why I was to so conservative on Wednesday, I but I decided to wear my svelte 1973 Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 5646-7010, with it's very precise looking hands and markers,
Thursday it was back to the wilder ones. and I wore the Seiko DX 6106-7759 with an ecru-colored oxford shirt, that goes well with its caramel colored dial. Too bad that on the drive to work the second hand fell off! :-\
(I was careful not to let it run during the day, so the second hand din't get dragged around and scratch the dial.)
Saturday I had to layer up on a damp cold day, to head out to the post office to pick up another watch delivery, so I went back to the accurate, hi-beat Grand Seiko 5646-7010.
This watch has three *deep* gouges in the crystal near the day/date window, each running at about a 45 degree angle. I even spent over $100 to get a new original crystal, but you know, when I wear it I don't even notice the scratches! (And they don't show much in most pictures either.)
Sunday I was just going to hang around the house in my "lounge-wear", which includes a dark blue hoodie, so I slipped on my incredible 1973 SeikO VANAC 5626-723A, with its wild dial, faceted crystal, and neat bracelet.
And then I switched at dinner time to the new watch I had picked up on Saturday! It is a birthday present for my Mom, a hand-wind-able, automatic, hi-beat Seiko Lady Weekdater 2796-3110.
The bracelet fits me just fine! Hmmm... Nah, I'll give it to my Mom! :-D
