MKII has stopped selling those a long time ago. You would be better of looking for one from some one like yobokies or dagaz.

Did he sell off all of his inventory, or is he sitting on a pile of parts since he doesn't "do" mods anymore? I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the latter were true. Myles

I know these are rare now but I was hoping somebody somewhere might want to sell it to me :-/
The only MKII dial available in the market now is the military one. I've got one of those incoming already. I like these MKII dials because they're very clean! This PloProf inspired one also has the day-date window I'm looking for. Both yobokies and Dagaz have a version of this dial but both don't really do it for me.
The closest would be Dagaz's new 'Helo' dial, but the deal breaker for me is the C3 lume and no window. Sigh.

Myles When I contacted him back around 08-09 time frame he told he didn't' have any parts left over and he doesn't deal with Seiko's anymore. He was NOT pleasant about it and he was kind of a jerk. I even asked him where did he get them from so I can try buy some and that didn't go over well at all. So I won't put his name on anything I own. Op you might be able to hit this guy up and see maxmadco.com/products/

He didn't exactly say he didn't like Seiko's he just didn't deal with them anymore. At one time he was one of the few modders who had custom parts made for Seiko's. This was before he started the MK2 watch homage business.

Like Jake and Harold, among others, he probably found that he was wasting way too much time on tire kickers, indecisive people and too many mind changers after the fact. Making custom watches is obviously an easier and more lucrative way to do business. We are a finicky lot and often to our own detriment. I can blame the guys for moving away from supplying custom parts and accessories into complete watches. On another note, Bill used to have a program that let the buyer try out different case, dial, hand combos onscreen just by selecting the available parts from a menu. I once asked if he would sell me that program but he wasn't interested...at that time he was still full into selling parts. I've thought a couple of times of trying to put together an app that would allow us to try out parts from Jake or Harold or anyone else and assemble them CGI to see how they would look. That would be a cool app!

I think he makes a nice looking watch....but I also think they're overpriced....although they do bring a pretty penny on the used market it seems.
I've always liked the Paradive....but not for $1500.00.

I wish I would have jumped on a few Kemmner models when they were avaialble.
Or even one of his cases Hamilton pocket watch movements. I was fortunate to see one at the local watchmasters.
Much cheaper than the Tourby watches.

On top of that for watches assembled from parts from Asia the prices seem ludicrous.

Much cheaper than the Tourby watches. Kemmner had some really cool models, just don't expect any after service communication or help. Wilson Watch Works makes some cool models and they have some good service though.

very well said guys...we watch people can be a little hard to deal with at times i bet.. Well...I think a lot of these builders who offer the various mods are victims of their own success. They offer a cool mod, product, etc. Then the reality of dealing with people in a business environment hits home. And it's not all rainbows and butterflys.

This is why I have a lot of respect for people like Harold. I myself am a finicky customer and I'm sure I've pissed him at times. But he has always been professional with me which is why I am a very satisfied return customer. I can imagine he deals with so many people sending him emails everyday with multiple inquiries - that could get really taxing specially if he's got other businesses to take care of.

That would be a cool app! I think that the one and only reason is $$$. If it was not, he could have easily turned over the production or at least the data on the production of the parts for the modders. However if he did that, one could have seen how much he was profiting for the parts. Back then he was already charging $50 for one dial or set of hands when the regular price was around $20 or even less for the same from other sellers like Noah or Yobokies... Then of course one watch is hundreds of $$$ in profit rather then tens of $$$ for a part...

They come up once in a while on the sales forum. However Dagaz has a similar one, if you like this design. If you are interested I have a set of original MKII hands like these above, only all white.
