I love the reissue...I want it......$466 on ebay, more like $350 on some japanese sites, does anybody know of a reliable vendor?

Sorry if this has been covered, but knocked out by this: Amazed theyve collaborated with Giugiaro and used the old style cues. Edit: And there's more: Not sure if that off center placement will grow on me but I'm willing to give it a try! That dial rocks! I love the fact that they kinda stuck with the old dial styling cues unlike the re-issue of the Bullhead which is quite a departure from the older version. This one says retro all over including those pushers. Nice!

Unfortunately, a reissued diver would probably be a quartz watch, like the new bullheads. Seiko should really understand the enthusiast community better - a slam dunk automatic could just crush the margins of their quartz releases. Imagine if they used one of the new gen movements with hacking & handwinding... Imagine if they got the styling cues correct Imagine if they were selling for starting MSRP of >$500 but actually selling for 40-60% of that via Amazon etc like the 007s/009s etc ...wow. drooling-sign-smiley-emoticonHere.......................
