The Super Beat 10 models are hard to find in any condition, so I thought Iād give this one a go.

Something about this one called out to me, I think it has a sort of Alpinist feel about it with the second crown, cream dial and segmented handset: Anyway the seller is including the original stainless bracelet and apparently it has a new capacitor fitted too so I thought it worth a chance.

Ooh very nice, I really like the hands on that one. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford an Alpinist and play spot the difference š

Not quite "in the mail", but at least it is out of the seller's hands and on it's way to the Buyee warehouse. It is a 2018 SBBN035. Comes with the inner box and tags, but I do not see the outer sleeve or manuals. I need one of these like I need a hole in my head, but it was very cheap (COVID-19 discount?). Plus, I always liked the 'semi-murdered out' look these have.
There are two deep scratches on the crystal that transition into twin nicks on the bezel and shroud. I have a spare crystal for one of these since my SBBN015 came with a Yobokies sapphire upgrade that I installed as soon as I got it.
Hopefully, I will have it by...um, Christmas? It's EMS all the way on this and it takes as long as it takes. No freakin' way am I using DHL again!

I also have this lot of 12 watches headed to me...eventually. There are two really nice 7546s, some kind of Seiko quartz pocket watch (?), and several nice Seiko/Citizen ladies models. But the belle-of-the-ball here is, of course, the very nice 6458 diver on it's original strap.
This lot was listed with very little description, and that led to very little interest. Honestly, I don't even remember how I stumbled across it. I had just gone through DHL hell when it was first posted as a Buy It Now and wasn't looking to try to get any more watches out of Japan for a while. Price was a very reasonable $92. I passed on it. It was listed again. I passed on it. When it was listed a third time, I reconsidered. I think I pulled the trigger with an hour left the third time it was listed.

Apologies for a long post but I've been busy š³, these arrived this morning: Top to bottom we have a: '67 7619-9010 '73 6106-7590 '68 5126-8010 All happily ticking away, I especially like the dial on the Actus: Another beautiful Seiko blue dial for my growing collection. Also had a few lucky wins on Buyee with this little lot all on their way to the warehouse for shipping: So that's 6 Actus' and one Advan, a few knackered crystals which will take some time to find replacements but just look at those colours! š

Looks like I caught my first King Seiko today: It needs a good clean and a replacement crystal but with the impending birth of my first child (any day now š³) this is the last of the big ones I'll be getting! Anyone have a lead on a crystal for a 5625-8000?

Citizen Promaster. When someone posted a picture of a Citizen Promaster in a WRUW a while ago, it instantly went on my wish list. 44mm diameter, Eco-drive movement, bold dial and hands with amazing lume? I'm in! I received an alert when this turned up on a for sale site yesterday, and the guy accepted my offer. Attachments:

Forgive me, Sushi brothers, for I have sinned! These were being offered for $300 on Ebay with free shipping. Then I got an email from Ebay offering me a special limited time 20% discount on top of that. For $267 all-in (with Jay Inslee's internet sales tax ) I thought I would give one a try.
I actually bought the black one before realizing I already have a black GS. I emailed the seller and asked them to send the white one instead, and was told that "they would forward my request to the shipping department". We will see what actually shows up!
Never owned a Ball before, but have always liked their style. Movement is a generic-but-reliable, off-the-shelf, ETA caliber 955.112, but the case dimensions seem right and I do love a tritium vial dial!

You rat bastard I didn't get my coupon and I was *just* saying to myself when I'm gonna get one I have a couple things bookmarked just for that occasion.
I feel you with the Internet sales tax theft. My governor in NJ signed it into law in January 2020 and even my foreign transactions on eBay are taxed. I read in my local paper this morning that the Town is slightly raising property taxes and the State is increasing tolls on the heavily traveled highways. Blood sucking thieves. It's never enough. I can't move to Florida soon enough.
Anyways, I have a Ball watch. A nice chronometer. Quality brand that doesn't get much attention. My father wears it. Enjoy yours.
EDIT: I did get that coupon. I remember now. It was for Memorial Day. There was nothing of interest in the qualifying merchants. I remember searching G-Shocks and the couple things I had bookmarked. I looked just through my deleted mail to double check and saw the coupon
