Seller description: "Normal wear due to age. Recently serviced." “May just need new battery.”

Seller description: "Normal wear due to age. Recently serviced." No they were very honest. Mechanism in tact for repair only. The 21J 6119C movement screws look clean and not mullered and the barrel shows no sign of rotor wobble wear (RWW) I bought it for the case hardware as I have a few bits and pieces to make it a working unit.

I watched it for a couple of days before asking questions, receiving better/more pictures and thence making an offer. The seller was not the easiest to converse with taking ages to reply and providing the better pictures. He continued to tell me it may need a new battery or service. but we managed to agree a deal tonight.

I was able to grab this metal cased, screw case back G-Shock from the late eighties for $29.00. These sell for 5 times+ so I’m happy to add this to my collection My photos.

Hit up my honey hole and scored this! I've ALWAYS wanted one but the price was too high. I felt very comfortable with what I paid so I'm happy to fill my SKX lineup with this puppy.

Been a bit out of it lately, working a lot of overtime. Sooo, I'm gonna use that to justify these two purchases

A 5216 Lord Silverwave? Wow, I did not expect they exist. That's a new free seat in my 'House of Lords'.

It arrived today 6106-8100...very pleased. Another pending project. That's gonna be a real beauty Thank goodness for the Pogue cos I am sure peps concentrate on them while these good old boys slip through the net. It took 30 minutes to get the spring pins out and bracelet off (I like to get it into hot soapy water ASAP The pin sleeves were rock solid and required WD40 for a while. The case back again very tight and most probably never been off. The movement is untouched but would not start up. It will though eventually.

My $12.00 score 👍🏻 Works perfectly too. It’s the AMD-320D cased in Malaysia. I bought a new crystal since there’s some scratches. My picture

I bought mine new around 1991. I only replaced the original battery in 2013. It's now on year 8 of battery number 2! Indestructible. In fact you'll find a video I done of me throwing mine over the house on YouTube. I've had 30,000 views and 3 death threats pmsl
I have a spare module if yours doesn't work. Absolute bargain

Haha, that’s great! Thank you very much 🙏🏻 Fortunately a new battery and she fired right up. The display is mint and light works. According to the seller, he never wore it. I received it in great condition. It was a bit brittle and covered in a white film. A gentle clean with dish soap and a thick layer of a rubber conditioner which I left near a radiator and it “melted” in and turned jet black after a wipe down and looks near perfect.

That's cool! You were really lucky going by the condition. I doubt mine looked that good after it's first year! I never took mine off. It hasn't lead a easy life I can promise you that. It was even dropped into acid and lost in the garden for a year. I might have the original box in the attic for mine thinking about it.

This showed up the other day. I over paid having misread the reference number thought it as a 7009-3049 which is one of the last to fill the NO$9 Collection. 7009-8049 from February '87 I'd guess, Heavy Lume markers on the 6, 9 , 12 could make this a good donor for one of my 7009-812?'s that I like better, and is need of a dial...Seems like I have said things like that in the past, and can't actually bring myself to cannibalizing them...If my spreadsheets reasonable accurate I may have a couple of these already...This one has a full length OEM bracelet which is always a bonus (even though I already have at least one....)
