I always wanted an Eco Drive for the collection and to wear when I go fishing and to the beach. I usually wear an old G-Shock but wanted something nicer and with this cool solar technology. The green and red versions are not North American releases I believe? I love this green and wanted a little something different compared to the black and blue dials here in the USA. I found it for a very good price plus I had eBay Bucks to apply to the purchase. I think this will be a nice addition to the diver collection for well under $200.

After getting the Sharky 6105 Homage the other day and the strap that came with it I just couldn't resist. Picked up a second in black and a blue for the 009 as well as a 22mm in black for the 777. I really wanted to like the strap on the 777 but that metal keeper just is annoying, and with the hole spacing, if the watch get wet it rolls, tighten it up one more and it's a bit uncomfortable. I have looked at the Uncle Seiko's online but have yet to get one. Anyone have this and an uncle seiko they could compare?

I have looked at the Uncle Seiko's online but have yet to get one. Anyone have this and an uncle seiko they could compare? I have this style Uncle Seiko strap. It's length is very similar to a Seiko OEM diver strap meaning the tongue portion is long. So if you're put off by a long length, just be aware. I have many of his straps and purchase the "short" length which is perfect for my 7" wrist size as I hate extra strap length. If the OEM strap length is fine for you, any Uncle Seiko replacement would be perfect. The quality, flexibility, material, attention to detail and buckle are all top notch. I highly recommend his straps and bracelets. You can feel comfortable ordering one. He might still have version 1 styles on a major sale which are VERY stiff but I put mine hugged up against the inside circumference of a coffee mug and poured boiling water on it and let it sit until cooled. It molds perfectly to the wrist and saves a lot of money because of the sale (just a tip)

I have US's site bookmarked, just haven't gone ahead...and now it might just have bene put off a bit more...

Was surprised when it actually shipped and didn't cancel. Well, something shipped. We'll see. I guess for 99 cents, even the plastic storage box would be worth it.

This one popped up on gumtree on Saturday night. It had been up for an hour already and I had to wait another half hour before I could call the seller - story time takes priority over such things 😅 The seller confirmed he had it from new in 1978, which accords with the June '77 serial. It's been sitting in a drawer for years, it needs a service, but it does run. The price was very good, so I didn't muck around. I'm looking forward to servicing it and doing the crystal and gaskets.

What a great find! Looks like a minty dial under those scratches. I always find myself comparing all the photos and angles to check the marks are on the crystal and not the dial...
Looks like it hasnt seen a lot of sun!

Looks like it hasnt seen a lot of sun! Terrible lighting so we'll have to see if the lume is white or has some colour, but I am confident the scratches are on the crystal, not the dial.

Aloha Sir, Hey suntzu, Wait till you find one of these and the looks of it is very nice too. I got this one about .... 2 years ago from a Women seller on the bay that she said they are just junk to rid off. I got it with a couple..... Parts Ones all in pieces and this was among them wrapped in a .... Piece of Typing Paper. I opened it up and cleaned the..... PCB Board and gave it a service. Put a New Battery into it and it has worked ever since. It's been in the box with hardly any use yet. I really am not partial to White Dial Watch's so it sits for some time, but actually I have only wore it in the house about ... 3 Times that I can remember. Louis

Always cool to get an amazing deal on a watch like that and getting it up and running again.

Seiko C359-5010 with it's original pen (atleast what I know atm) and original bracelet. Crystal was smashed, but if it fires up with a battery should be a fun project. No signs of corrosion and the owned said that it has been unused for 30 years so chances are that there is a Seiko battery inside which stand up against time very well. In anycase pen and bracelet alone were well worth the money what I paid for the thing. We'll see!

Sure did- The "99 cent" Ecozilla. (Well, there was shipping, and tax, so $8.62) Looks new. Full kit, box and strap adapter. As advertised, it is not running. I was hoping a few hours/days in the sun would get it going, but no joy. There is a movement and cell inside, so will try a new capacitor. Seller says no repairs were attempted, obviously someone attempted something based on the scratches on the back, which still has caseback sticker. Could be the movement- the date won't change....

I already have 2 but for $6 I couldn’t resist 😆 A good cleaning and fresh battery and good as new! A little color missing on the bezel but a great vintage pick up.

Hopefully you can get it sorted. For just $0.99 it's worth getting an estimate if its the movement. If not you can move it along for a few more dollars

2 x 171522 (6139 cocks)
They are no longer required but they were cheap so I'll build up a couple of complete assemblies as spares.
