This is the black-dialled version of Citizen’s (and Japan’s) first waterproof watch. The black dials are much less common than the white dial versions.

This is a 1969 2517-0380, a ladies skin diver similar to the 6106/6119 "Rally Divers" made at the same time. Comes on it's original bracelet and is running. I believe the inner bezel is rotated by the crown?
I have ZERO use for this watch but the hammer price was literally less than what I spend on the cup of cold brew coffee I get every day on my way to work.
I also got this very Breitling-esque 7T34 chrono. I have only seen a couple of these and the price was right on this one. These came with black dials and white subs or white dials and black subs, and also arabic numeral or luminous dot hour markers. I think it is from 1998.
Last, but not least, is a V145-0AH0 which I believe is from 2004. These are less often seen with the blue dial...most are a grayish black. Part of the Prospex line, with some of the newest examples featuring the V147 movement and the dreaded 'X' on the dial. Unfortunately, this one doesn't run even when under a light. Probably a capacitor issue, but if not the V145 movement can be sourced from any of several anonymous Seiko/Alba dress watches.
If it winds up being a total turd I also have the black version which came to me head-only (and required a movement swap itself). Worst case scenario is this one becomes a bracelet donor.

Parts for an Elgin pocket watch, Various stuff from cousins, Casio Casiotron and a Vintage Casio digital 100m water resistant with a Marlin logo on the dial (this I have wanted for a long time).

SBGA211 due today Arrival, Superbly presented and a superb watch. Oh DonJ that is absolutely beautiful, congratulations on a masterpiece of a wristwatch! I wonder if you will walk into a wall when first wearing it, I know I couldn't stop looking at it so be careful
And now for my curiosity I'll ask a few questions. I am quite ignorant of high-line Grand Seiko movements but have taken a moment to go read about Spring Drive and 'Snowflake' watches. Fascinating and awe inspiring stuff for sure. Still unanswered would be, are the dial markers (jade color) luminous or decorative on this model? What year vintage would yours be?
Can't wait to see this in WRUW!

Hi Simon, I have been looking at early SD (2006) but those I found (2) were still rather expensive at £1300+. The more I looked the more I leaned towards buying a new model. I could have opted for a cheaper model with the same 9R65 movement but by then I had read all about the snowflake being 'the model to own because of the dial finish'. The dial batons are polished much the same as the case with no lume because they are considered dress watches. It's serial commences 0D so was manufactured December 2020. The supplier had one in stock which was/is from June 20 but I asked them to get me one closer to 2021. This is as close as it gets.

The jade is a reflection from the cucumber and tomato plants in our conservatory

How about a "what don't you have coming in the mail"?
I won this a few weeks ago from Y!.JP, but after several weeks of the seller not shipping and then deleting their account, buyee refunded me. A pity as they were a couple of nice watches for the price.

7c46-7011 sbbn007. Auction just closed for yours truly for 39500jpy/~360usd/ ~305eur. Slight wear on the crystal and such but easily replaceable if needed. If everything inside works I think thats a bargain. Very happy.

On an airplane right now.
Someone else [edit - cobrajet25] in this thread got one of these (H711) a few weeks ago, and I was intrigued, so when it popped up, I grabbed it. This one isn't as nice as the earlier one, with some scratches on it. Unfortunately the crystal on these can't easily be replaced, so I'll have to live with those scratches. It will be my only quartz watch, so I'm curious what I think of it once it's on my wrist.

Been after a clean 7548-7010 for a long time, wish Seiko made a Recraft series of their slim case Quartz divers, I'd be all-in.

Woke up this am and scanned the old “garage sale” app and saw a really crappy picture posted. -this. So, instead of passing on it because it didn’t look like anything. I clicked on it to see what it was about. VERY shortly after seeing this next picture, I bought immediately without asking any questions. It’s now on its way to me for some TLC, gaskets and wrist time!!

I've got a Brian May in the mail too, I think with a franken-bezel-insert. I was kinda hoping it was just bad lighting but that's just wishful thinking.
