I filed last night and will be getting a smallish refund. I think I'll take the refund and jump into a pre-order on a micro brand I've been watching. I should have the watch by Christmas.... Today, this one again.

It's ugly, but I have learned to love this one.

I saw that someone else wore a SARB065 yesterday so I was inspired to wear mine today, with a shirt that compliments it well too!

Wearing my 1965 Grand Seiko 5722-9990 today. I have been wearing this all week to check its power reserve and accuracy, and both are just fine. It sure is a good looking watch. Another owner has his on a dark brown strap which looked great, so I am trying to find an appropriate 19mm one for mine. I have our usual JDM sellers looking for a Seiko Strap DEA4AW, which is an official 19mm Grand Seiko strap, a dark brown large-scale crocodile. Thanks for looking! Now that I am satisfied with it's performance, I will probably have to take it off to wear some incoming watches, but that will be sad!! :-\ - Thomas

well i have a citizen nighthawk that could use a little love with the dial...very hard to see ...let me know... here is mine today Bingo....I also have the Nighthawk Black SS model. Wish my eyes were younger but I can't see squat except in good lighting. Am throwing around things like painting the outer edges of the hands red, or putting some lume on. Like the watch, but if I can't see it I won't wear it...

I've had this on for a couple of days and it has been gaining about 30 secs per day... I put it on the timegrapher and discovered it was all over the place depending on position. Checked the hairspring and all looked fine but I did notice that it was sloppy where it passed between the regulator pins. This has the 7s26B calibre so I gave the regulator nut a slight twist to reduce the slop. That settled it down so that all positions displayed the same amount of rate deviation. From there it was a simple matter to regulate it so that there is now less than 4 sec per day deviation in all positions...I even checked it in those odd angle positions between the traditional 6 of dial up, dial down, etc. Lets see how it performs on the wrist now. Not sure why but this is one of the best fitting divers I have. Would love to try it on an OEM Monster bracelet.

That is a nice looking watch IMO. Love the solid brass with the brown.
