Just read about this forum and registered.
I started my "Seiko career" with an old wrist calculator. Continued with several lcd "nerd" watches. Then i found out about those massive LCD-Divers and this is where i am now
Recently 5 classic lcds and a Vintage SQ had to go but an Astron found a new home
So here is my stuff:

I see you have one of my favorite Seiko watches....the SPBG001 is a great watch....I really enjoy mine....it's a shame they don't make them anymore. That's a fine collection!

Nice collection, great display! Oh, tell us about that brass telescope, please.
In german it would be called "Ablesefernrohr". I'd translate it as "Read out telescope" It is used to read values of galavanometers. As i understand it galvanometers were used to measure electric current. To read very low values they used these telescopes (with help of a mirror). I think that is as correct as i can get

I especially like that one too! It is my "go to watch". It is always ready... This watch is one of the main reasons i bought the Astron: Always powered - always correct time. And i set all my other watches to the SPBG whenever necessary
So thank you both!

Hi Martin, Welcome to Wrist Sushi! While the watches are nice, what I really like is your Seiko display case with the Hokusai Great Wave image. I'm a big fan of Japanese woodblock prints. =) Cheers, Ronald

Very nice Martin! I like how you treat them, like exhibition pieces in Seiko shop!
