Not had an Ananta apart before but I can be very confident on the following -
- The hands should fit - The 61xx chronos use a unique sweep hand system, so I doubt a newer sweep hand will fit. Not sure on the counter hands but I'd say it's unlikely - Pushers will be larger and retained by a circlip. So without extensive modification to the 6138 case it's not going to happen - Internals are completely different. The 8R28 is basically a supercharged 7S26, but even then, it only has a minimal amount of interchange. The 61xx internals have zero interchange with the 7S26 - Balance wheel is completely different, the 61xx is a larger wheel than the 7S family, different balance staff, different everything - Oscillating weight won't fit. You might be able to get a more decorated weight from the 61xx GS/KS series but literally no others will fit - I'd highly doubt the caseback would fit, but you never know.
I believe its the 8r28. I think I missed my chance though. I don't see as many of the invictas on the bay anymore and when they are, they're typically $450+. I still kick myself for stopping at $250 for one that sold at $259. I've never paid that much for a watch though, and... Its an invicta... The movement would've been well worth it though. I still check from time to time, but haven't stumbled upon the right deal.
