Hey, Everybody.
This is my first SOTC on WS - I hope to do it at this time every year.
It's been a crazy 2015 - I don't have a good theory why, but a lot of long-term wishlist items came up for air.
By the end of the year, it was 24 watches in total - 2015 additions bolded below.
Getting right to it, the Japanese divers:
62Mas: '67 Daini, '67 'Ghost', '67 Suwa; '67 6215-7000, '68 6159-7001, '81 2205-4090 (wife's)
'70 6105-8000, '70 6105-8110 Proof/Proof, '74 6105-8119; '75 6159-7010 (seller's pic, watch en route), '79 7549-7010
'87 6309-7049; SBDX011, SBGA071, '6? Citizen Skin Diver
Grand Seiko: '61 3180 (since claimed by my wife), '64 43999, '66 6245-9000; '63 3180 in platinum, '64 46999 (seller's pic, watch en route), SBGA011
Chronographs: '69 Zenith A386, '72 Seiko 6139-6005, '71 Hamilton Pan Europ; Zenith Striking 10ths, Omega 3570.50, Seiko IZUL SDAA003; '71 6138-8000, Omega 3689.30.31, '76 6138-0040
Swiss divers: '66 Omega Seamaster 165.024, '61 Vulcain Nautical; DOXA SUB750T COSC, DOXA SUB 600T T-Graph Searambler
And the rest: '67 Rolex GMT Matte small triangle, D.Dornblüth & Sohn 99.1; Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic, Tribute To Reverso 1931 US Edition
And, after 9 months of waiting my Eichi II arrives in January!
That's it for me right now. I have a few more but I intend to sell them so I left them out.
In addition to the GS 3180 and 2205-4090 above, my wife has a few other things.
Here are her other Seikos: Hi-beat: '69 1964-0010, '68 1964-0020, '72 1984-3000 VFA (seller's pic, en route); Queen Seiko Special 2539, Queen Seiko in platinum, 7c17-8000 watch for the blind; '61 Laurel Alpinist, '71 King Seiko Special 5245-6000, '72 King Seiko Special 5245-7000; '83 7a28-7020 (Bond Chrono), '72 6138-8000, '59 Crown
... and her non-Seikos: Chanel J12 H2423, Cartier Tank Francaise small, Tiffany&Co Resonator, Sinn 556I
Thanks to WS for the space and this opportunity to take stock. Hope you've enjoyed it.
Happy to answer any questions or provide closeups of any particular watch.
Cheers, and have a great 2016 everybody!
