I've had great delight in succeeding in replacing a dead movement on this Honda Sportura 7t62. It was tricky but thanks to the many that contribute to this and other fora, I succeeded! I thought this was a one hour limited chronograph, meaning after one hour my cool red sweep hand would stop. I did hate this feature and was my primary reason for selling my solar Landmaster chronograph with tuna style case. Somehow in my movement swap, my chronograph runs indefinitely with all the dials behaving correctly. Stopping and resetting. The only thing that doesn't work is the chronograph start and stop sounds. Alarm works fine. I love that my sweep second is not limited to 1hr. Is this unusual, quite common or a feature of this movement? Thanks for reading. Cam

It's been a while since I've owned a 7T62, but, as I recall, it will run for hours on end, but only has the capability of recording up to one hour and 59 seconds elapsed time. I think it stops after several hours (maybe as many as 12) to conserve energy.
I found the alarm function handy not for waking me, but for tracking overseas time zones, particularly those that aren't an integer numbers of hours offset from my home time zone (e.g. Bangalore).

I don't mind the alarm, I use it more as a countdown timer. It's quite easy to set for a few min in advance like 20min for pizza baking purposes. So this is one of my go to baking watches-
