Ding Dong.... My doorbell rang as I was rummaging through my watch collection to find a companion for today. I went to the door to be greeted by an attractive young female courier. Even better was the package she was holding- addressed from Adrian in South Australia. It's incredible. This is how it started. Another fine piece of work by Adrian. This included but not limited to: Original Crystal machining, Movement clean and repair- the lever for hacking (if it's called that in Quartz land) was bent) plus removal of battery gunk. Pusher clean, case and bezel de-muck and clean. The pusher tubes may have also been replaced. Polish hands and lume clean. Shroud repair. It was split at 12 o'clock. I'm sure there is more that has been done but regardless it looks fantastic. I am over the moon! Cam

Looks fantastic Cam. Has he touched up the bezel inset too? It's the same insert but a lot of the scratches in the 'before' pic aren't obvious in the 'after' pics.

Really glad you didn't replace the bezel insert with an aftermarket one The watch rocks now and still carries it history well.

Thanks Cam!
Looks great!
Tristan - didn't touch it. About all you can do with them is maybe dab a texta or some satin paint in the dings then wipe off when dry. Often it looks ratty after though, so it's better to leave them in my opinion.
The hands on this were corrosion city and one of them is being held together with lume paint. I got rid of the corrosion with the pickle solution. They're pretty good now but it was touch and go.
What cracks the shrouds on these is people losing the small spacer tubes that the screws sit on. They then tighten up the screws which cracks the shroud. It's imperative those spacers are in place if you like the shroud.
