Hi there from Dortmund, Germany I am longer here member but had never time to write something. I hope I can change it in future. My story for watch enthusiasm is long but I try to short it up. In mid of nineties I met Brian May (gitarrist of my favorit group Queen) in London. At this time I havnt got much knowledges about watches. Not more than other guys. Brian May was wearing a Diver which looks pretty cool for me. I noticed that it was a Seiko . I didnt believe that a Man like him wear a Seiko Diver. So my enthusiasm was awake for the first time... Now its over 20 years passed since that and my enthusiasm specially for Seiko is bigger than ever. Other watches or brands are fascinate me too but not at all like Seiko. The history, the technic and their vision for changing the time in many periods to be the first in developing is the fact that catchs me . But the MAGIC of Seiko is still the biggest fact IMHO I am a collector of vintage Seikos specially 60s, 70s & 80s I try to restore and service by myself . I try also to help where I can to bring back an old Seiko to his old glory!! My taste is anytime to keep authencity and originality. Aftermarket parts are not for me. I hope I will enjoy my time here and if you want you could ask me some things. I try to help where I can. For more special or difficult work of horology I have the best watchmaker on Earth Regards Baris

Hi Baris, welcome to WristSushi! Great story - I was a big Queen fan once, well, I still am but it's a long time ago... I'm sure you've got many lovely Seikos to show! Jonas Edit: I knew I recognized the Bud Spencer/Terence Hill theme from somewhere! Some influx from the Uhrforum here today
