Nice looking watch....but I'm not a fan of that bracelet....it looks like the design leaves you with zero options.

Very nice, and a good price at only £200ish* plus local taxes. I was expecting upwards of £800. *Oh, it seems I missed a 0 when converting the price...

Looks nice. I hope they aren't 52mm x 56mm behemoths.

Not a fan of the narrow lug width on a huge case and the integrated bracelet makes it look even worse.
No thanks on that one and the non chrono versions as well.

I'd have to agree, the size, the integrated bracelet, and also the big X on this line kills it for me...

I think these are a step in the right direction style wise. They draw on a lot of heritage, aren't fugly and have style cues from the grammar of design.
You have -
6139 style case ends
5717 bezel
6105 styled indices
Monster style hands

Well, it's an auto - you cannot expect Seiko to ship them for 300 USD. They have to differentiate their products. Yes, I'd love an "entry level" auto chrono as well, but it seems that's not in our stars right now.

Nice but at $1150 US Smackers I'll pass! And that's for the non-chrono versions. The chronos are $2850 or so. Way above my pay grade.

Sub $3000 mech chrono 8r49 with 3 clutches and 100% in house and 200m is an outstanding price.
Agree about the bracelet.

I did not like the 3-hander when it was released, still don't like them. This chrono though looks very interesting.
At that price and size I'll have to pass. The integrated lug doesn't bother me as much as it did before with the 3-hander. I really like the chrono design very modern yet still understated. The price is actually reasonable for this calibre but a bit too rich for me, there are others too that would call my attention at that price range.

That's my thread. I just ordered a SCDC039 and I will buy the SBEC003 as soon as it's available, I'm really sold on this model. Thanks for the SEIKO link.
