That minute hand is in pretty rough shape, for an NOS. And I love the fact that the seller is accepting bank wire transfer only, that alone would make me nervous as hell.

That's pretty outrageous. And I thought $1,799 for a "Zamba" Monster was bad. I wouldn't be surprised if a fanatic bought it, though.

58 watchers...seller knows what's up..got the Seiko fanboys right where he wants them. Just lower the price slowly until someone bites.

looks good but that's a LOT of money even for a NOS given the state of the hands

For something that is NOS, I can't understand the dings in the case and the condition of the hands. How can something that's sealed have corrosion on the hands?

Does anyone know two or three more nos 6105's for sale? These prices are getting normal, get use to it. Besides that, vintage Seiko divers are more and more desired by guys who only collected Swiss divers in the past and they are used to pay more.. Nos hands pop up from time to time so that wouldn't be a problem, but again shows to me that the 6105's were NOT totally waterproof, even most mint 6105's don't age perfect when it come to dial/hands. A diver needs a screw down crown, therefore I prefer the 6309's. Btw, In a few years we laugh about these prices. I have seen the same thing happen with 6309's. People complained about 3/400$ for a nos one a few years ago. Now they wish they had bought it, I'm happy I got into them on time.

Maybe it's just me but I have seemed to notice that the more and more of any watch that is frequently discussed the higher the prices seem to climb!

That's for sure Btw, about about prices: a few days ago a good condition used 6309 with box and instruction manual went for $721. Not even nos, but that's where prices are going.

I dunno if this is material to the topic of conversation or not but take for instance the case of the Yema Seaspiders.......(Quartz AND Autos) When they first came out they were heavily discussed and for the most part folks didnt care for them at all yet with the constant discussion over them the prices rose DRASTICALLY and now you cant even find one! When and if you ever do the prices are astronomical! As to paying $700.00 + for a 6309 in good used condition.........NOT for me....ever! Not worth that price whatsoever!

It's simple supply & demand.

It's simple supply & demand. I'm not sure if you were/are reffering to the Sea Spiders or the 6309s? IF the 6309s there are TONS of really good ones for sale (Original part ones) all the time for round $200.00 or way less! The Yemas.... NOT easy to find at all!! Here is the only Yema Seaspider I own and likely will never sell it!?

Talking supply and demand, the reissue Bishop Guigiaro Seikos that just came out? Limited edition of 200 for each variant? They're all gone. The seller who had some on eBay sold his first run for about 25% above listed price. He sold an additional few of them in open bidding, and they left that 25% price in the dust, selling close to $500. All gone.

That is a beauty, the thing is that, there are NO MORE, like said above....rare is rare....I like that I found mines long ago at a price I could afford.
