Hi. Is US's waffle as soft and comfortable as the new SRP rubbers?
Thanks

Nope. It's quite stiff and nothing like the new SRP rubbers.

It's PVC style rubber.
The new SRP straps are polyurethane.

The one i tried on at Angus and Coote was silicone, way more supple and bendy than PU.
I bought a Seiko R033011J9 silicone strap off Yahoo Jp for about $35 AU recently which imho is great value.

Nope. It's quite stiff and nothing like the new SRP rubbers. I have heard the same about the straps!

This brings up the question of durability. Which of these materials will last the longest; comfort aside?

The uncleseiko strap might be stiffer, but it's still a very good strap. Takes a little while to mould to your wrist, but that could be accelerated with some hot water I believe.
