As far as autos go, was the 6309-729 the first Seiko Diver with a red and blue bezel? Then the 7002? Then the SKXs, and now the SRPs?
Thank you.

7548-700B/F? Edit: Ah autos... In that case I thought it was the 6309-729A. Might be totally wrong. There wasn't a 6309-704x with a Pepsi, and before that there isn't one. So it would be the slim 6309 and then the 7002-700A or 7002-700J I guess. Could be wrong.. Probably

Hey Earthphase I thought I'd read a How to buy a Seiko Dive watch that the 7002 was the fourth generation, I don't believe the 6309 was first a 61?? was first maybe. Don't worry the experts will be along, you have come to the right place for answers I'm just posting so I can follow along and educate myself..

Good watch; $12 from Ramon's treasure chest a few years back That turned out really nice! I put a small effort into putting one of these together and all I got was a couple piles of trashy parts... Might have to give it another go. When were these released though? I know, as already mentioned, the 7548 is quartz. But in my opinion it should still get the prize for 1st Pepsi diver. Not mention a few more firsts still seen in the current favorites. Plus that's not your typical cheap quarts in there sharing most of it's top side with the 6309!

This one and two other cases I have all have serial numbers beginning with '2' so I'm guessing 1982.
