I'd like to compile a list of bezel insert measurements in the hope of trying to find a donor bezel for my 7005-8052. If you have a mid sized sports diver with a bezel could you kindly measure approximately) the inner and outer diameter. rogart has very kindly sent me a Bezel and I am considering options for an insert. I believe the 7005-8052 bezel insert measures 36.5mm outer diameter and 30mm inner. I am wondering if there are any close matches to this insert with any other sport divers such as the auto 6309 sport divers or the early Quartz sport divers such as the 7123 and 8223 sport divers. There are heaps of variations in the 1970's-80's of watches with rotating bezels. I am hoping one of them will have a compatible bezel insert that is readily available.

7006 8030 appears to be 30.0x36.2 (without removing the insert from the bezel). 7005 8050 (should be the same as 8052) also appears to be 30.0x36.2 (but it's hard to be precise without removing the insert) The actual insert is probably a touch larger than the edge of the bezel so 36.5 may be right. My 6106 8100 is with my watch guy sorry.

That's amazing. Thank you. There are a few that will look ok, or only take a bit of resizing. Thank you very much. Cam

So this is what a 7005-805x looks like with a h558-5000 Arnie bezel insert on. The height is not right but the diameter is pretty darn close. It sits about 1mm to high.

Get yourself a flat "India Stone". You'll be able to get that 1mm off in oh, an hour or so... So this is what a 7005-805x looks like with a h558-5000 Arnie bezel insert on. The height is not right but the diameter is pretty darn close. It sits about 1mm to high.

I think I will leave the Arnie in-situ for the time being and get a 6309/7456 sport diver bezel from Raymon they often come with free case and movement. I will try and tidy up and repaint one of those inserts. I have a feeling an original Arnie bezel insert should be left as is.
