I bought a Citizen yacht timer on eBay, the seller has now told me a stain has appeared on lcd display and analogue stopped working. Sounds fishy to me but he’s offered me the defunct unit for around €20 or a full refund if I prefer. I know nowt about Citizen parts availability, would the module be findable and affordable? Don’t know the model number either which makes it more difficult. Pics of before and after damage: Thanks Pip

Citizen parts availability isn’t anywhere near as good as Seiko or even Casio. Is this a watch you really, really desire? If not I’d walk away.

There's a seller on eBay that always has used working citizen movements. If I can't find him, Monsieur Longbike will know him as I sent him a link a while back.
What's the movement number on the rear?

Seller left it in strong sun for a few hours. Don't buy, you're just buying a headache
