Resto'd this one last night. 6306-8000 on a vintage SEIKO but not model-correct bracelet. Got this one off Yahoo Japan to drop the 4 o'clock Kanji wheel movement into a 6306-7000 diver that I **thought** had a 6309 movement judging from the auction photos. Features a Silverwave screw-down crown and after some regulating keeping amazing time, no beat error in any positions. New crystal showing off the perfect dial and hand set. Case resto with sympathetic brush and Cape Cod polish, nothing aggressive. New case back o-ring, the crown sealing system is unusual and soft and pliable must have been replaced recently. New nylon crystal gasket and rubber o-ring. I'd be willing to take this one swimming. Turns out the diver actually does have a true 6306 movement, just has a 6309 autowind bridge nstalled. So now this one is no longer needed to be a donor. Good thing too since I am quite pleased with it. I am a sucker for a pristine silver dial.

Here's the one... big seikosha I had what was a homage to that watch, made for a Spanish Seiko forum by G. Gerlach, a Polish micro-brand. They couldn't sell the minimum to their forum members, so they opened the sales to SCWF. I grabbed one, then later sold it on, to a Polish national, IIRC. Edit: Only 150 ever made.
