I own two kinetic watches. This one and the same model but with the pepsi bezel and blue dial. Because they only get worn a couple of times a year, when I come to put them on they are flat and require more wrist action than I'm prepared to give them to get going. I have previously tried using my Phillips Sonicare toothbrush charger and also bought some Phillips Imageo lights (which also use induction charging) to use the base station charger but both did absolutely nothing (to my watches). So, for the last six months or more they've been neglected and I had been considering swapping out the capacitor for a standard battery so I could wear them when I wanted. I popped into Gleave & Co. in London on Friday morning to pickup a gasket I needed and noticed in their counter display a small box bearing the SEIKO name. A closer look revealed that it was a YT02A Energy Supplier. The price was right so I bought it. I used it last night to charge my first watch and this morning to charge the second. It works perfectly. this is a quality piece of kit and I'm really pleased I was able to pick one up.

The chargers are awesome! If you have kinetics as part of a large rotation, it’s a must. I understand some of the chargers for ultrasonic toothbrushes work too...
