I finally got a photo of a mate's special 6306-7001 Msst, which i assume is a limited edition because i am yet to see another one. It was another Seiko release for an Antarctic expedition following on from the 6105 DVDP watches. Msst is short for McMurdo Sound Sedimentary & Tectonic study. They left off the s for study. I only got the one photo and the letter M is partially obscured. Sorry. It took me ages just to get him to dig it out and after a few beers i forgot to take more shots. He is too lazy to post much. Here is link about the expedition. antarcticsociety.org.nz/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Antarctic.V8.11.1979.pdfAnyone here have one of these tucked away or any further info?

Never seen that either. Cool looking watch even without the extra text.

Thanks guys. I had been wanting my mate to post it, and others, for quite a while but it took some pestering. He really should post some of his watches as he has a very nice collection, and i think watches such as the MSST should be shared with Seiko collector community. Cheers.
