Hi guys , remember the Ricoh I bought well it’s now done. Turned out it keeps perfect time after a few full winds . Dial is so clean it could pass for new. All I’ve done is polish the sides and bezel ring and reapplied the brushed finish to the top of the case. Fitted a new crystal but this was not how I would have liked , the original has a shoulder on the inside but could I find one the same .... no 4 different ones from Cousins fortunately all at £1.70 each! Ended up having some help with GS hypo cement glue which I can highly recommend due to the uniqueness of the pin like applicator on the tube to give you great precision without giving you stuck fingers either! Anyway crystal fitted and a lovely & quite cheap grey leather strap also from cousins to match the dial. Pics don’t do this justice as the dial is like a linen pattern but also plays with the light too. Enjoy.. I’m so pleased and better than I thought it would be.
