There was an auction in Sydney last week, and the prices were attractive, so I went on a bit of a spree. A nice Panda, pity about the hands -- anyone want to swap a set of Kakume hands? And a Jumbo with a few scars on the case, but a clean dial

But for me the most exciting find was a couple of lots of 7As, unpictured in the catalogue and listed as "Seiko vintage quartz sports chronographs. Working condition unknown". I'm still sorting through these ones, but I'm in love. The blue sunburst dial of the 709A is mesmeric; the panda dial of the 7A28-7040; the Royal Oak....

Wow, that's an awesome haul of 7As. There was a set of Panda hour and minute hands on eBay a week or two ago. Maybe check if they're still there. Nice dial on the panda!

Instant 7Axx collection!!!!
They all look to be in very good external condition. I hope that they've not been left too long with dead batteries.

Instant 7Axx collection!!!! They all look to be in very good external condition. I hope that they've not been left too long with dead batteries. I've changed a few of the batteries, and haven't found any leakage so far, and all bar the 7040/panda franken (thanks for the steer) are working fine
