Hi I'm Nathan from Melbourne, Australia. I've had an interest in watches mechanically and inherited some pieces from my grandfather. I was hoping to use this board to find parts for them and seek advice from other enthusiasts and professionals in the hopes to restore them to some former working order.

Welcome to the Sushi Bar! We have friends in Boronia and try and get over there every 3 years or so for a month. If I ever considered emigrating from the UK, Melbourne would be top of the list! Don't be shy: ask questions, take part, show us what you’ve got!

Welcome aboard Nathan! What pieces did your grandfather leave you? Looking forward to seeing some pics mate. The pieces that my grandfather have left me are below photos.app.goo.gl/Grp1JTsQqDbFVBer7They're a 6119-6023, 7019-7060 and a 7005-8062. I've managed to do some work on cleaning them up but I am dismayed after receiving a quote about the 6119, I'm hoping to find someone on the forums to help me out with fixing it.

I can recommend Adrian-VTA in Adelaide. He's doing great work and not fleecing you for money. Have a look at his youtube channel, he's quite specialized on Seikos.

I've sent a PM to Adrian, I bought a caseback seal off his EBay last week for the 7019, I'm hoping he can help me out with the 6119 since its missing its original gear and spring for its stem and has a stuck keyless pin, I've seen his work on plastic alternatives since the originals are so expensive. I was pretty dismayed to get a quote from a place in the city for 500 for work on the 6119, I've managed to get it to look like this so far

Is that the same gear and spring that goes on the 6139-600X? Maybe Stefan (schillachi61 on Ebay) still has some originals...

From what information I have found there has been similarities between the 6139 and the 6119 gears, I think Adrian posted something about it on another forum a few years ago about the similarities and differences, hence why I managed to chase him down to this forum. I have one of schillachi61 originals in my watch list, though I'm hoping that Adrians' alternative may be a cheaper alternative since I'm not so concerned about the functionality but more so that the movement remains stable in the case. But if I have to I'll pay what I must to get things working correctly given that its within economical reason.
