Another watch lot "gem" to show off. This was working when unboxed but pushing the light button would blank the screen and reset the watch! The 2016 battery checked out ok, figured something was wrong so it sat on the bench for a while. When a period correct strap turned up in my last lot it got a new battery and all is good!
This thing is in great shape and not to bad on the wrist! If it wasn't for the apparent fragility and rarity of the bezel I'd say I've found my G-Shock.
Another cool note I haven't read anywhere else- the calendar is good until 2029! How's that for longevity confidence? (Looking at you Citizen!) These were released in '84 from what I've read. My calendar starts at '85.
