Remember To Honor All Who Have Served In the Military.

 This coming week here we are Honoring All Military And Civilian Services for Veterans Day.
We also honor those in service all over the world that keep their Country's Freedom Solid.
   Those that have gone before many and those who are now serving and those who are Veterans.
The cost of Freedom is a very high price to pay for many and this should be Honored always.
  To many still defy and contradict Military doings but like to enjoy the benefits of freedom and this
is still not right to do.
 I for one will never forget those that we called ... Aussies because we served together and became Great Friends also.
They called us ..... Yankee's but we all got along just fine.

Thanks for the reminder Louis.

For the past 12 years, there is a veteran who stands outside the local liquor store selling poppy buttons. He is always dressed in freshly pressed grey dress pants and his navy blue uniform jacket. He proudly displays a small collection of ribbons and medals on his left brest pocket.

He always turns out no matter what the weather.

I asked him what brought him out year after year and he simply says...so people do not forget that their freedoms came at a terrible cost.

I always greet him, buy a poppy and chat for a bit then thank him for his service

Very important to remember.  The men and women who gave their lives enable us to live the life styles we often take for granted.
